How it works

Prepare your UKPSC files in three steps

01

Choose Photo or Signature

Pick the tab for the file you need. The dimensions and the KB range switch to the UKPSC values for you.

02

Upload and crop

Add your picture and move the crop frame, which is locked to the right shape so your face is never stretched.

03

Check, download or share

Green ticks confirm size and dimensions. Download each file, share it, or collect both into one ZIP.

Why this tool

Everything an UKPSC application needs

⛰️

Built for Uttarakhand forms

Photo and signature sizes for the file ranges commonly asked on UKPSC application pages.

📐

Safe, strict limits

Defaults use the tighter ends of each range, so files pass even when a portal is stricter than expected.

✅

Live compliance check

Green and red chips show at once whether the size and dimensions are right.

✍️

Ink clean-up

Whiten the paper and darken the ink on a signature photographed with a phone.

📦

Download both as ZIP

Every file you finish is collected, so one tap saves the pair.

🔒

Private and free

Your pictures stay in your browser. No signup, no watermark, no limits.

Requirements

UKPSC photo and signature requirements at a glance

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) invites online applications for its state services, and each form asks for a recent photograph and a signature in JPEG format. The upload fields have size limits that are much smaller than a normal phone photo. The table shows the values commonly quoted for these uploads, and they are the starting values in this tool.

DocumentFile sizeDimensionsWhat it should show
Photograph20 to 50 KB413 × 531 px (3.5 × 4.5 cm)Recent colour photo, face clear, light background
Signature10 to 20 KB472 × 236 px (4 × 2 cm)Your signature in dark ink on white paper

The commission can change these details in any advertisement. Please read the instructions of your own notice, and use the Customise section if your numbers differ.

Exams

Which UKPSC recruitments this tool is for

The tool follows numbers rather than exam names, so it suits any UKPSC process that asks for a JPEG photograph and signature. That includes the Combined State Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) examination, Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer posts, Forest Range Officer, Assistant Engineer, lecturer and many other advertisements.

If a particular notice asks for something different, enter the new width, height and KB limits in Customise and everything else, including the live check, keeps working.

Step by step

How to prepare your UKPSC photo and signature

  1. Select Photo. Upload a clear recent portrait and centre your face in the crop frame.
  2. Check the checks. Look at the size and dimensions chips. Both should turn green.
  3. Download, then choose Signature. Sign on white paper, photograph it from above and crop close to the ink.
  4. Save the pair. Use the ZIP button to keep both files together for the form.
Photograph tips

Taking a clear photograph for your application

Face a window for soft, even daylight and stand in front of a plain light wall. Look straight at the lens with a relaxed expression and keep your whole face visible.

  • Use a recent picture. It should look like you on exam day.
  • Avoid glare and shadows across your face and spectacles.
  • Tidy the background. Use our background remover if your wall is busy.
  • Do not use filters. Natural, unedited pictures are the safest.
Signature tips

Signing clearly and consistently

Use dark ink on plain white paper and photograph it from directly above in daylight. Crop closely around the signature, keep ink clean-up on and zoom in on the result to be sure the lines are still sharp.

Your signature on the form should match the one you use on your identity documents and the one you will give at the examination centre.

Before you apply

Preparing for a smooth application

Gather your identity proof, educational certificates, category certificate if you need one, and the photograph and signature files before you open the form. Take note of the closing date and apply early, since busy portals can slow down. Keep a copy of your acknowledgement or registration number after you submit.

Rejections

Common reasons uploads fail

  • The file is larger or smaller than the permitted size.
  • The photograph was stretched instead of cropped.
  • The picture is blurry, dark or taken in front of a cluttered background.
  • The signature is faint, tiny or crossed by a shadow.
  • The file is not saved as a JPEG.
Privacy and sharing

Staying private while you prepare files

Your photograph and signature are processed inside your browser, so they are never uploaded to our servers. Download each file, collect both into a ZIP, or use Share to send an image with a link to this page. Delete shared copies from chats when you are done.
